How to Play Football Lottery?
Football Lottery is a puzzle and knowledge game inspired by classic bingo mechanics, but exclusively designed for football fans. Your goal is to place 12 players in their correct categories within a 3×4 grid.
Players will appear on the screen one by one. You must select the cell on the board that accurately corresponds to that specific player. The board categories can include leagues where they played, clubs they represented, countries they are from, or specific sporting achievements (like winning a World Cup or Ballon d'Or).
Just like in traditional bingo, you must mark the correct cells to complete the entire board. If the current player doesn't seem to fit in any of the remaining empty categories, you can use the Skip button. But be careful, you need to place exactly 12 players perfectly to win!
Choose your game mode:
- Normal: No time pressure. Ideal for those who want to enjoy the challenge at their own pace and think through each player's career.
- Timed: You have 5 minutes to complete the board. Perfect for those seeking an adrenaline rush and quick thinking.
If you place a player in an incorrect cell, a red border will appear as an indication, and you will lose that attempt. Both the players and the board categories are renewed daily, so come back tomorrow for a completely different puzzle. Can you shout 'Bingo!'?

The origins of Bingo date back to 16th century Italy, from a lottery called 'Il Gioco del Lotto d'Italia'. It later moved to France where it became a game for the aristocracy, and finally to the US where it was popularized as a carnival game called 'Beano'.
In football, categorizing players can be extremely tricky due to the complex nature of transfers. Did you know that an average professional footballer in Europe changes clubs approximately every 2.5 years? This makes remembering all their past clubs a true challenge for memory.
Some of the rarest sporting achievements on our lottery boards include winning the 'Sextuple' (6 titles in a single calendar year). Only two clubs in history have achieved this: FC Barcelona in 2009 under Pep Guardiola, and Bayern Munich in 2020 under Hansi Flick.
The concept of 'football bingo' is actually popular among stadium fans in the UK, but instead of players, they cross off events that happen during the match, such as 'yellow card for diving', 'manager looks angry', or 'striker misses an open goal'.
