How to Play World Draft?
The 11Inicial World Draft is a strategy and squad building challenge where your goal is to assemble the best possible team and be crowned World Champion. You will start the challenge by drawing a random tactical formation that will define the positions you need to cover on the pitch.
In each turn, the system will randomly draw a country and show you the available players from that national team. You must choose wisely which player to sign and in which slot on the pitch to place them. If you are not convinced by the country or don't have compatible positions, you can use one of your limited 'Selection Changes' to try your luck with another nationality.
Watch out for the position! If you place a player in their natural role, they will contribute 100%. However, if you adapt them to a secondary (but compatible) position, they will suffer a penalty to their overall rating (OVR). Building a balanced squad with the highest possible average is key to success.
Once you complete your Starting Eleven, you will jump onto the virtual pitch to play the tournament. You will start in the Group Stage and advance through rounds via simulations based on your squad's statistics against rivals from around the world. If you lose, you will be eliminated. Survive until the Grand Final and show your manager skills!

The 'Draft' concept became hugely popular in American sports (like the NBA and NFL) as a system to balance the league. In football video games, the Draft format of survival and progressive building revolutionized the way we play through modes like Ultimate Team.
Did you know that position drastically influences a footballer's performance? Legends like Gareth Bale or Thierry Henry started in very different positions (full-back and pure winger, respectively) before shining as goalscorers. The OVR penalty in this game simulates that difficult process of tactical adaptation.
Winning a World Cup requires talent, chemistry, and sometimes, luck from the penalty spot. In World Cup history, only Italy (1934 and 1938) and Brazil (1958 and 1962) have achieved back-to-back championships. Even the best teams can be eliminated by a bad game!
Match simulations are based on probabilistic algorithms. In the World Draft, having a higher overall rating than your rival gives you more chances to score, but there is always a surprise factor: football is unpredictable and the humblest team can eliminate the favorite at the last minute.
